LexForge

Privacy Policy

This page explains what LexForge collects when you use this site, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to correct or delete it. It applies to visitors, prospective clients, and anyone who sends us a message through a form or by email.

Information we collect

When you submit a contact form or write to us directly, we receive the details you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the subject of your enquiry, and the message itself. If you attach documents such as a draft contract or a notice you have received, we store those as part of the same record. Separately, our hosting and analytics tools record technical data that arrives with every request, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you open on this site. We do not ask for payment card details through this website, and we do not collect information about your health, beliefs, or other sensitive categories unless you include it in a message yourself.

Why we process it

Your contact details and message are used to answer your enquiry, assess whether we can take on the matter, and keep a record of the advice given. Technical data is used to keep the site running, spot abuse, and understand which pages are actually useful. Where you have agreed to hear from us, we use your email to send occasional updates about legal developments or service changes. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles or to make automated decisions about you.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar storage to remember your preferences and to measure traffic. Analytics cookies record which pages are visited and how long a session lasts, but they are configured so that we see aggregated figures rather than a personal profile. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though some preferences may reset. If you send a form, the provider that delivers the message may set its own cookie for spam protection, and that provider's policy governs its use.

Sharing with service providers

We rely on a limited set of third parties to run this site: a hosting provider that stores the pages and server logs, an email or form delivery service that routes your message to our inbox, and an analytics provider that reports on site usage. These providers process data on our instructions and are bound by their own contractual and legal obligations. We may also disclose information if we are required to do so by law, by a court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients and staff. We do not transfer personal data to any other party for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a limited period so that we can follow up and then deleted. Records relating to an active or completed matter are retained for as long as the professional and tax rules require, after which they are securely destroyed. Server and analytics logs are kept for a shorter window and then rotated out. If you ask us to delete your data and we are not legally required to keep it, we will do so and confirm in writing.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, request that inaccurate details be corrected, ask for deletion where there is no overriding legal reason to keep them, and request that your data be transferred to another provider in a common format. You can withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by writing to us. If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, you can raise the matter with us first, and you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Accuracy and honest claims

We describe our services in plain terms and do not promise outcomes, court results, or specific timelines that we cannot control. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of success, a claim of official affiliation with any court or regulator, or a substitute for advice on your specific facts. We do not use invented statistics, fake reviews, or pressure tactics, and we do not present ourselves as acting for a client until a written engagement is in place. If you spot something on this site that looks misleading, tell us and we will correct it.

Contact for privacy requests

Send any privacy question, access request, or deletion request to [email protected], or write to us at 413 Reynolds Cove, Courtneymouth, GU16 6EL. You can also call +44(0)117224843 during normal office hours. Please include enough detail for us to identify your record, and we will respond within the period allowed by applicable law. Cookie settings

We use cookies to keep the site reliable, remember basic choices, and understand which pages are useful. You can accept, reject, or review the settings before continuing.
